In 2023, the European Union and Turkmenistan celebrate the 30^th anniversary of the establishment of the bilateral diplomatic relations. In this regard, in addition to the celebration of the Europe Day, the Delegation of the European Union in Turkmenistan, together with the French Institute, showed for the first time in Turkmenistan one of the most innovative areas of contemporary art in Europe - a performance using digital and interactive technologies on the stage.

During two evenings of the 31 May 31 and 1 June, the K. Danse group (Toulouse, France) gathered more than 1,000 spectators in the building of the Makhtumkuli National Drama Theatre in Ashgabat.

Myselves, an interactive choreographic performance created by the K. Danse group, is a dialogue between a dancer and a digital visual and audio device specially developed by the InfoMus Casa Paganini research center (Genoa, Italy). This type of co-production between member countries is common today in the European Union, but was seen in Turkmenistan for the first time.

This event is organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan and is one of the landmark events of 2023.
