On 19 June, the EU Delegation joined the premiere of the documentary "Factor of Choice" — a film on Ukraine's democratic path since independence, created by Civil Network OPORA with EU support

At the screening, Gediminas Navickas, Deputy EU Ambassador to Ukraine, said: "Democracy in Ukraine was never a given — it was chosen, built, and defended, even under the most difficult circumstances."

The EU is committed to supporting Ukraine on its path towards EU membership — a partnership that also means standing with the people and institutions that strengthen democracy every day.
