EU Delegation in Ukraine joined the Women’s March in Kyiv

On the March 8th 2026 the EU Delegation in Ukraine joined the Women’s March in Kyiv to show support for women’s rights, gender equality, and human rights.

The March took place for the first time since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine.

The EU Delegation team walked in solidarity with Ukrainian women – including those serving in the Armed Forces, volunteers, medics, and women who have experienced captivity.

The March highlighted the importance of strengthening women’s rights, countering discrimination and gender-based violence, and ensuring equal participation in decision-making and peace building.
