Lviv hosted the three-day training for regional journalists “EU: Simply About the Complicated”

On February 13-15, the EU Delegation to Ukraine organised its 8th training for regional journalists in Lviv with the participation of Katarína Mathernová, Ambassador of the European Union to Ukraine.

During these three days, 24 journalists from different regions of Ukraine had the opportunity to learn more about the European Union, with a special focus on:

  • Ukraine's accession to the EU;
  • comprehensive support provided by the European Union to Ukraine since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion;
  • EU history and its organisational structure;
  • reliable sources of information and features for creating media materials on EU-related topics.

Participants visited local projects implemented in Lviv with the financial support of the European Union, among which are the first of eight social homes for the “UNBROKEN” center patients and the prosthetic workshop that produces prostheses for Ukrainians who suffered from war. Participants of the training also took part in the closing event of a campaign on the EU support for Education and Youth “Together We Learn and Grow”.
