The EU-funded programme “EU4Environment – Water Resources and Environmental Data” supports the Eastern Partner countries in preserving of natural resources in line with the European Green Deal. The programme aims to improve human health and well-being and to contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Republic of Moldova and Ukraine.

The programme is implemented by a consortium of European Union Member States (Environment Agency Austria, Austrian Development Agency and International Office for Water-OiEau, France), the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE). 

As part of the River Basin Management Plans deliverable, OiEau is launching a tender as the contracting authority for the preparation of the Strategic Environmental Assessments (SEA) for the 9 River Basin Management Plans (RBMP) in Ukraine, as required by the Ukrainian legislation for such plans.
