Senior Expert: Energy Efficiency (Category 2) at Reform Support Team at the Ministry for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine

The Reform Support Team is a group of Ukrainian professionals (non-civil servants) funded on a temporary basis by international donors to provide targeted technical support and assist the Ministry for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine (MCTD) in the design and implementation of priority reforms within the framework of Ukraine Reforms Architecture (URA) Programme.

A Senior Expert on Energy Efficiency is required to support the MCTD in necessary legislation changes related to Energy Efficiency Reform and to support the MCTD initiatives and the alignment and implementation of the EU acquis (legislative and non-legislative measures), and relevant secondary legislation as well as working with energy efficiency stakeholders in the country. The expected start date would be immediate, following the selection of the candidate.

The ideal candidate should possess a university degree in energy, engineering, construction, finance, economics or ecology, and be proficient in English and Ukrainian.
