On 04 December, an EU Team participated in Geneva's Course de l'Escalade showing the EU's commitment and strong support on preventing and combating violence against women and girls.

The Course de l'Escalade is Geneva's most well known sports event. Happening in the beginning of December, it takes place within the time span of the 16 Days of Action against gender-based violence. An EU Team participated in the race to show the EU's strong support on preventing and combating violence against women and domestic violence.

Almost 40 colleagues from 12 different Permanent Missions registered for the race on 04 December, including experienced runners as well as motivated beginners.

Unfortunately, the weather forecast was right: The first team had to run 7 km through the pouring rain but it didn't keep them from our mission to #OrangeGeneva during the 16 Days of Activism.
