Nominations are now open for Chaillot Prize 2025 edition

The European Union Delegations to the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Oman & Bahrain, Kuwait, and Qatar, are pleased to announce the launch of the 16th edition of the Chaillot Prize for the Promotion of Human Rights in the GCC region.
The Prize honours local civil society organisations, public or private institutions, as well as individuals for their efforts in promoting general awareness of human rights and the rights of vulnerable groups in the GCC region.
The deadline for submitting applications for this year's edition is 13 November 2025.
