EU Delegation organises an Iftar in solidairty with Ukraine

Last night, 24 February, we marked four years since Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Four years on, Ukraine continues to defend its sovereignty in the face of ongoing aggression, while its people demonstrate extraordinary resilience and courage. 

Together with the Embassies of Cyprus and Ukraine in the UAE, the EU Delegation to the UAE hosted a special iftar with EU and candidate country ambassadors, bringing partners together in a spirit of unity and solidarity. The European Union remains steadfast in its support for Ukraine’s sovereignty, territorial integrity and a just and lasting peace based on international law.
