For 250 years, European and Americans have shared history, ideas, values, and aspirations that continue to shape our continents to this day. From the first Europeans who helped build America's early communities, to today's deep economic and cultural ties, and into a future of growing collaboration, Europe has been part of the American story from the very beginning.
This bond will continue to deepen — not just in institutions or agreements, but in the lives of our peoples. In the jobs we create, the ideas we share, and the challenges we face side by side, our partnership remains a source of strength and possibility. Together, we are writing the next chapter of a story that is still unfolding.
This milestone year, the European Union and all 27 Member States are proud to celebrate with the American people across the country, honor our shared achievements, and highlight the partnerships that continue to bring us together.
