Coming Soon: The 10th European Film Festival in Uzbekistan!
The opening ceremony will take place on 6 November 2025 at the Alisher Navoi National Palace of Cinema Arts (Panorama) in Tashkent, marking a decade of cultural dialogue through cinema. This year’s festival will feature 12 remarkable films from Austria, Estonia, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Portugal, Slovenia, and Sweden, showcasing the diversity, creativity, and shared humanity of European cinema.
The Festival will open with Latvia’s internationally acclaimed animated film “Flow” by Gints Zilbalodis - a poetic story of resilience and companionship that has captivated audiences around the world. Screenings will follow in Tashkent from 7 to 9 November and in Termez on 12 November, alongside side events including dance performances, workshops, and short film showcases.
