EU Festival - 2026
On 2 May, the Youth Creativity Palace came alive with laughter, music, and engaging conversations. Some visitors stopped by for just five minutes — and ended up staying until the end of the day. Guests danced, sang, sampled cuisine from different countries, met new people, reunited with old friends, and collected stamps in their festival passports.
The national pavilions of Germany, Greece, Spain, France, Italy, Cyprus, Poland, Slovenia, Slovakia, and Finland, together with interactive zones and lively exchanges, created the feeling of a small journey across Europe — without ever leaving Tashkent.
Visitors also discovered European Union projects in Uzbekistan, many of them implemented under the Global Gateway initiative — learning more about their goals, achievements, and the people working every day on important initiatives in education, gender equality, sustainable development, inclusion, culture, and international cooperation.
But above all, it was the atmosphere of the festival that stood out: open, warm, and full of joy.
The festival has only just ended, and we already miss it a little — while looking forward to seeing everyone again next year.
