Small Grants Competition for Anti-Corruption Initiatives among Civil Society Institutions
Objective of the Competition
The competition aims to support the prevention and fight against corruption by promoting civic engagement, introducing practical solutions, and enhancing transparency at both national and local levels.
Priority Areas
Civil society institutions are invited to submit project proposals in the following areas:
- Civil society participation in law-making and legal initiatives
Projects aimed at strengthening the role of civil society in drafting, discussing, and improving anti-corruption legislation. - Development and implementation of digital transparency tools
Projects using digital technologies to enhance transparency, accountability, and public oversight. - Promoting integrity and empowering women in economic activities
Projects addressing corruption-related barriers and improving transparency in areas affecting women’s economic participation. - Anti-corruption at the local level
Projects focused on preventing corruption at the level of mahallas and local communities.
Eligibility
Eligible applicants include national non-governmental non-profit organisations (including women’s and youth organisations), academic and research institutions of various ownership forms, registered and operating in Uzbekistan, provided that their statutory objectives align with the project theme.
Commercial organisations (LLCs, JSCs, etc.), organisations under liquidation, and individuals are not eligible to apply.
Grant Size
The maximum grant amount per project is up to USD 6,000.
Application Procedure
❗ Prior to submitting applications, applicants are required to participate in online information sessions organised by the project team. Participation is mandatory and aims to familiarise applicants with grant procedures, proper application preparation, and to enhance legal and financial literacy.

How to Apply
- Review the concept note and competition guidelines
- Submit a project proposal and administrative form
- The proposal must be prepared in Uzbek or Russian, without indicating any identifying information about the applicant organisation
