The European Union joins the Colombian and international community in condemning the cowardly attack that took place in Cali on 7 January against the Police Mobile Anti-Riot Squad.

The European Union expresses its solidarity with the wounded, their families and Colombia's police forces and institutional system. We reaffirm our strong rejection of terrorism and our call against any interference of violence in Colombia's ongoing electoral process.
