Coro Filipino

The Coro Filipino, composed of seven (7) members, was organized specifically to perform at the EU Open Day where the Philippines is one of the featured countries.

Filipinos are known for their love and passion for music.  The members of Coro Filipino are no different.  They come from diverse backgrounds, but are linked by their love and passion for music.

Mr. Joren Alutaya

Grand Champion DA-BFAR Solo Contest, Philippines. Grand Winner Maskara Night, Duet Contest  2024, Ghent. Currently a member of the Multicultural Pag-ibig Choir, Ghent.

Mr. Eugene de Castro

Former Lounge singer in Riverview Hotel Brunei. Freelance soloist. Former member of a band in Lipa City, Philippines. Church Choir member in Milan, Italy.

Ms. Madeleine Denopra

Former soloist and President, UP Singing Ambassadors.

Mr. Cipriano De Guzman, Jr.

Filipino Baritone ™, Opera singer, chorister, and music educator based in Luxembourg. Prize winner in New York, London, Rome, Tokyo, Osaka, Yokohama and Lugano. Aliw Awards 2022 Winner and a two-time recipient of “Ani ng Dangal Music” 2018/2019 from the National Commission for Culture and the Arts.

Ms. Carla Joyce Laureano

Soprano singer at CIC Choral Luzon, Philippines and Brussels International Singers (BIS), Music teacher at Filipino Community in Brussels, Member, Les Noucelles Choral Group. Performed in Amazing Asia Festival and  various Embassy events.

Mr. Jomarie Mundas

Choir member in high school and song leader in Living in Faith Everlasting Church in Mindanao State University.

Ms. Janine Santos

Lyric soprano, Kundiman singer, theater actress. UP College of Music Alumnus. 2014 Aliw Awards Nominee for Best Classical Performer. Former Mabuhay Singers member.
