EEAS Secretary-General Kajsa Ollongren Visits Rome

Earlier this week in Rome, EEAS Secretary-General Kajsa Ollongren met with representatives of the Italian Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Defence to discuss the importance of a strong and united European external policy. 

Exchanges focused on Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine, the Middle East, the Sahel, partnerships across Africa, and EU missions and operations. In today’s challenging geopolitical environment, European unity remains our greatest strength, and the foundation for effective action.
