The European Union Ambassador to Niue and the Pacific, H.E Sujiro Seam visited Niue in February 2020 to present his Letters of Credence to the Premier of Niue, Hon. Sir Toke Talagi.

During his short stay in Niue, Ambassador Seam met with the members of the Premier's cabinet and commissioned the Liolau Guesthouse, a climate resilient income infrastructure for the Avatele Community. He also visited some of the EU-funded projects in Niue, including the EU-funded Emergency Operation Center.
