At the 6th European Union - African Union Summit, leaders agreed on a renewed and enhanced cooperation for peace and security as part of a Joint Vision for 2030. Leaders confirmed long-standing partnership premised on the principle of African solutions to African problems and reflected in the AU-EU Memorandum of Understanding on Peace, Security and Governance.
