The second EU-LAC High-Level Political Dialogue on AI, held in Santiago de Chile, on November 5-6, 2024, brought together government officials,
representatives of the private sector, civil society and academia from Latin America, the Caribbean and Europe. The dialogue focused on: AI governance, strategies, and practical uses, HPC and AI infrastructure, the development of LLMs in languages other than
English and regulatory sandboxes.
