EUMAM Ukraine conducts planning courses

As part of the EU training mission EUMAM Ukraine, the CAT-C command organized several weeks of training of planning and leading large formations.

Moving and fighting with large formations is a craft and sometimes an art. Proper training helps to be ready when it counts. The CAT-C command of EUMAM Ukraine is very well aware of this military truth and therefore organized several weeks of planning courses and exercises for their Ukrainian counterparts. The training was coordinated by the multinational Arms Training Command (CAT-C), which is stationed in Żagań, Poland. The training was done by experienced international CAT-C instructors and supported by instructors from the Eurocorps in Strasbourg. Eurocorps is a current operational headquarters and their knowledge in planning and conducting operations was very well appreciated. In total, instructors from 24 European countries are taking part in the mission.
