EUTM RCA new medical facility
The ROLE 2 facility delivers advanced life-saving medical support, including damage control surgery and resuscitation, ensuring that EUTM RCA personnel can rely on rapid, high-quality care at the most critical moments. Behind this capability stands a team of committed and highly skilled medical professionals whose dedication embodies the EU’s shared values of solidarity and responsibility.
The facility’s operational status is the result of close and trusted cooperation between EUTM RCA medical, logistical and support elements, the Military Planning and Conduct Capability (MPCC) in Brussels, and IQARUS teams deployed on the ground. This collective effort significantly enhances the Mission’s resilience, operational readiness, and capacity to safeguard its people.
Beyond its immediate role, the ROLE 2 facility may also serve as a foundation for broader medical support in the future, reinforcing mutual assistance where needs arise.
