It is the first Gymnich meeting for me. We can start off with [a] meeting with the UK – who is our very good partner. We [will] discuss our bilateral relations and how we can move on with the Security and Defence Partnership.  

Then, of course, all the other issues where we are operating together: Russia’s war against Ukraine [and] what more we can do there.  

I can say that we are working on the 17^th package of sanctions to really put pressure on Russia. In order [for] Russia [to] want peace, we also should put more pressure on them. We have similar views with the UK on these issues.   

Of course, then, we also discuss our – a bit changed – relations with the United States and all the other security and political theatres around the world where we can cooperate.
