Iran-Bahrain: Statement by the Spokesperson

The European Union strongly condemns the latest Iranian drone attacks targeting Bahrain. We express our full solidarity with Bahrain. 

These deliberate attacks by Iran are unacceptable and unjustified, and constitute violations of international law.

The EU calls on Iran to immediately cease its attacks on neighbouring states, to fully comply with the recently signed MoU and to fully implement UN Security Council Resolution 2817.
