The European Union strongly condemns Thursday’s terrorist attack in Jerusalem, in which at least three Israeli citizens were killed and several others injured.

The European Union also deplores the death of two Palestinian minors shot dead during a military raid in Jenin day before.

Incidents like these show the urgency of breaking out of the cycle of violence, terrorism and retaliation. The EU will remain a steadfast supporter of peace and reconciliation in the Middle East, even in its most difficult moments.
