Javier Niño Pérez message to EU-LAC Event

On 3-4 April 2023, the Dialogue between European, Latin American and Caribbean Research Centres and Decision Makers: 'Perspectives and proposals for renewing the Strategic Partnership between the European Union and Latin America and the Caribbean' took place in Madrid.

This event was organised by the EU-LAC Foundation and the Carolina Foundation with the aim of exchanging on the effects of global challenges for the bi-regional political, economic, social and environmental agenda ahead of the EU-CELAC Summit of Heads of State and Government on 17-18 July 2023, in Brussels. The Dialogue between Research Centres and Decision Makers is aimed at exploring the opportunities that should be seized to broaden and strengthen the programmes and policies that promote EU-CELAC bi-regional cooperation.

Javier Niño, had the opportunity to send a video message at the closing session briefly explaining the “Road to 2023”, the main objectives of the EU-CELAC Summit and the long-term vision of this partnership.
