Kuwait-Bahrain: Statement by the Spokesperson on the Iranian attacks on civilian infrastructure

The European Union strongly condemns the latest Iranian attacks targeting civilian infrastructure in Kuwait and Bahrain.

These deliberate attacks by Iran on civilian sites are unacceptable, constitute serious violations of international humanitarian law, and threaten regional security and stability.

The EU urgently calls for de-escalation and the full implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 2817.

Our thoughts are with the victims of these attacks and we wish all those injured a speedy recovery.
