Media Advisory: High Representative/Vice-President Josep Borrell hosts an informal dinner with Western Balkans Leaders

On Wednesday 11 May, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy/Vice-President of the European Commission, Josep Borrell, will host an informal dinner with the six leaders of the Western Balkans in Brussels. This is part of the tradition of inviting them twice a year to discuss the future of the region and the main challenges it is facing.

The agenda will include changed security environment in Europe in light of Russia’s illegal aggression against Ukraine.

Ahead of the meeting, as of 18:15, High Representative/ Vice President Borrell will deliver a short arrival doorstep statement in the press room of the EEAS building. The doorstep opportunity in the EEAS press room will be open also for the participants afterwards as they will be arriving.

The doorstep statements will be available on EbS. Media can also follow them in person upon registration.

Due to the limited space in the EEAS press room, the media are asked to register by Wednesday 11 am. Access will be granted on the first come, first serve basis.
