Media advisory: High Representative/Vice-President Kaja Kallas travels to Vienna

On 3 and 4 December, High Representative/Vice-President (HR/VP) Kaja Kallas will be in Vienna, Austria.  On 3 December, the HR/VP will attend a meeting of Ministers of Foreign Affairs and heads of delegations, hosted by the Chairperson of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE).

On 4 December, HR/VP Kallas will meet with the Chancellor of Austria, Christian Stocker and Foreign Minister Beate Meinl-Reisinger. The HR/VP will also deliver remarks during the OSCE Ministerial Council Opening Session. This event will be broadcast on EBS. 

In the afternoon, the HR/VP will attend an event on ‘Justice and Humanity: Returning Ukrainian Children Abducted by Russia to Their Families’. The HRVP will also hold several bilateral meetings throughout the day, including with the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Rafael Grossi.

The HR/VP will conclude her visit by participating in the Friends of Western Balkans meeting, covering upcoming priorities in the Western Balkans’ EU Integration and energy, security, and EU integration.
