Media advisory: HR/VP Kallas attends conference for the establishment of an International Claims Commission for Ukraine

On 16 December, High Representative/Vice-President (HR/VP) Kaja Kallas will be in the Hague, the Netherlands to attend the Diplomatic Conference for the Adoption of the Convention Establishing an International Claims Commission for Ukraine. 

The Commission will address claims for war damages caused by Russia and will review assess and determine the compensation owed to Ukraine. During the Conference, the HR/VP will hold a joint press conference with the Secretary-General of the Council of Europe, Alain Berset at 12.15. 

The HR/VP will also deliver a statement on the signing of the Convention Establishing an International Claims Commission for Ukraine. In the margins of the event, the HR/VP will hold a range of bilateral meetings.
