Petition response regarding MEP Rima Hassan

Dear Petitioner,

I would like to thank you for your letter of 6 October 2025 on the participation of MEP Rima Hassan to the Smud flotilla, and subsequently the request to open a procedure inside the European Parliament to revoke Rima Hassan’s parliamentary immunity and mandate as Member of the European Parliament.  

Please note that the European Parliament is the competent institution dealing with the request, the latter being outside the competence of the EEAS and the HRVP.
