Thanks to the smooth cooperation between EUTM RCA and UNITED NATIONS MULTIDIMENSIONAL INTEGRATED STABILIZATION MISSION IN THE CENTRAL AFRICAN REPUBLIC (MINUSCA), a project completion ceremony was held on May 17^th to mark the renovation of classrooms at the Special School for the Training of Active Officers (ESFOA) from Camp Kassai in Bangui. These newly refurbished classrooms will significantly enhance the ability of EUTM RCA instructors to teach FACA officers, non-commissioned officers, and military specialists.

Notably, the project was funded through the MINUSCA Security Sector Reform (SSR) Section (Programmatic Funds for 2023-2024), highlighting the commitment and mutual support between both UN and EU field missions to enhance the educational processes for the Central African Republic Armed Forces.

Through their collaborative efforts, EUTM RCA, MINUSCA, and FACA leaders have made significant strides in improving educational infrastructure and training active officers, thereby contributing to greater stability and security in the region. “
