The 42 short-term observers arrived in Pristina on Tuesday, 17 October and after 2 days of briefing they have been deployed to their areas of observation.

Locally recruited short-term observers from EU Member States' diplomatic representations have also been trained on election day reporting.

The EU EOM have around 100 observers in total.
