About EUFF Nepal 2025
The 14th European Union Film Festival Nepal returns this November, bringing together acclaimed European filmmakers and emerging Nepali voices in a celebration of cinema without borders.
This year’s edition features 25 films, including 10 European features, 6 BAFTA-nominated shorts, and 9 Nepali short films, exploring themes of identity, belonging, resistance, and transformation, the selection reflects a shared cinematic language of courage, memory, and hope.
Cinema possesses the power to enhance our appreciation and understanding of diverse cultures. Through our annual film festival, we aim to build stronger relations between the people of Nepal and Europe. With our carefully curated selection of European and Nepali films, we hope our audiences leave inspired by creative expressions that transcend borders and cultures.
In addition to the screenings, EUFF 2025 will feature discussions, conversations, and film-based learning initiatives that explore cinema’s evolving relevance in our changing world.

Practical Information
FREE SCREENINGS
- No tickets are required — all screenings are free and open to the public. Simply arrive at the venue at least 15 minutes before the scheduled screening time.
- Multiple films are shown back-to-back in each slot, so please join at the start time to enjoy the whole lineup.
- Entry is on a first-come, first-served basis, and seating is limited. Come early to secure your spot.
