Matthias seems perfect in every role he is hired to take on: the art-savvy boyfriend, the exemplary son, or the debate partner who knows exactly when to concede. And yet, as the boundaries between his true self and the personas he adopts each day begin to blur amidst a series of tragicomic situations, the actor finds himself confronting existential questions.
‘[The film] pointedly and often hilariously pokes fun at corporate and capitalistic ideals of self-improvement and social coordination, without ridiculing the individuals who feel beholden to those standards.’ (Variety)
