As EU Ambassador, I am determined to build on the richness of our relationship with Morocco and to move it forward, based on a strategic and comprehensive partnership. Over time, Morocco and the European Union have built a trust-based dialogue that feeds on human, economic and cultural exchanges. The European Union is committed to further deepening this relationship, which is a model of cooperation between the two shores of the Mediterranean. 

Our cooperation and common vision converge in many areas such as the green transition and sustainable growth, investment and competitiveness, social cohesion and job creation, and bringing our societies closer together. Morocco is also carrying out major substantive reforms as well as major projects, opening up new opportunities for cooperation. 

In a regional and global context marked by profound changes and common challenges, the European Union and Morocco share the conviction that strong and close cooperation can bring lasting stability and prosperity. Together, we contribute to the development, security and resilience of the Euro-Mediterranean and African area. 

This website reflects the vitality and diversity of our partnership, through our joint actions with Moroccan institutions, civil society and our international partners. I hope that this website will help to make the European Union’s priorities better known and to highlight the strength of our ties.
