European Union against torture

The European Union participated in the inauguration of the International Scientific Symposium organized by the International Council for the Rehabilitation of Victims of Torture (IRCT) and the Mexican Rehabilitation Centre Collective against Torture and Impunity (CCTI) from 5 to 7 December 2016 in Mexico City.

The symposium is a unique opportunity for the global rehabilitation of torture victims sector to meet to exchange experiences and research on the evolution of rehabilitation of torture survivors.

It is the first global event that, through various disciplines, analyses in detail how to fulfil the promise of the right to rehabilitation, as established in the Convention against Torture.
