EU Ambassador Marie-Anne Coninsx and the Heads of Mission of EU Member States welcomed the Honourable François-Philippe Champagne, Canadian Minister of International Trade, to a breakfast meeting on 10 February at the EU Delegation in Ottawa.

The Minister and the Ambassadors discussed a wide range of topics, including the importance of promoting and implementing the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) for both the EU and Canada. This was the first time Minister Champagne met with the EU Heads of Mission since taking the helm of the International Trade portfolio at Global Affairs early this year. The breakfast was part of regular working meetings of EU Heads of Missions with leading Canadian personalities.
