Annemie Neyts-Uyttebroeck, a Belgian Member of the European Parliament, was Chief Observer.
The mission included approximately 100 observers from 28 EU Member States, Canada, Switzerland and Norway. Team members were required to maintain strict impartiality and neutrality and to abide with Tunisian law. EU Election Observation Missions operate in accordance with the United Nations’ Declaration of Principles for International Election Observation and the EU Code of Conduct for Observers.
