European Union supporting Social Inclusion through employability enhancement
On Thursday, 11 May 2017, starting at 10.00hrs, presentation and round table discussion of the European Union funded project: "Take action for better competitiveness on the labour market” will take place at the premises of the National Red Cross in Skopje. The project is funded under the Human Resource Development Programme IPA I and is implemented by the Red Cross in partnership with the Chamber of Crafts of the City of Skopje.
At the event, official addresses will be delivered by:
Mr Ibrahim Ibrahimi, Acting Minister of Labour and Social Policy
Mr Samuel Zbogar, Head of the Delegation of the European Union
Mr Sait Sait, Secretary General of the Red Cross
Mr Nikola Petrov, President of the Crafts Chamber of Skopje
The project supports better participation into labor market of socially disadvantaged people aiming at their better inclusion and reduces of unemployment. Out of 210 persons around 40 have been selected as final beneficiary who will he receive various training on soft skills aimed at improving their capacities and competitiveness in the labor market. The project is implemented in the municipalities of Kisela Voda, Gorce Petrov and Gazi Baba and hence at this stage of the project roundtables addressing opportunities and challenges for employment of socially vulnerable people are organized in each of them. The Round tables will be attended by representatives of Ministry of Labor and Social Policy, Employment Service Agency, municipalities officials, NGOs and other stakeholders.
