Up to 120 experts from the military, the police and the civilian training landscape, comprising 18 different nationalities, met in Santahamina a neighbourhood of eastern Helsinki to address some of the key challenges in the modern peacekeeping: (1) Ethics in Peace Operations, (2) Protection of Civilians and (3) Comprehensive Approach.
