The project will promote democratic principles and human rights by advocating for an increase in positive responses from the Royal Thai Government to address human rights concerns raised by human rights defenders and civil society, through international and national mechanisms, including the judiciary. The project has strengthened the capacity of civil society organizations to document human rights violations and to explore appropriate interventions, including provision of legal representations. It has also increased awareness of the Royal Government of Thailand on the need to strengthen respect for and protection of human rights.
