CEUMC participation to UN's Chiefs of Defence Conference 2017

From 6th to 7th of July, the Chairman of the European Union Military Committee (CEUMC), General Mikhail Kostarakos, participated to United Nations' (UN's) Chiefs of Defence Conference which took place at the UN's Headquarters in New York.

The EU high-ranking military official had the opportunity to share views and ideas on contributions, training, preparation of deployments in operations and other key topics, in order to further strengthen the relationship between EU and UN.

The Chiefs of Defence Conference provides an excellent opportunity for the most senior military authorities from around the globe to find ways for the United Nations military component to best position itself to address current and future challenges.
