Iran
The Council discussed the implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, the Iran nuclear deal. EU foreign ministers agreed on a statement on the JCPOA.
North Korea
The Council addressed the situation in the Korean peninsula, in view of the recent provocative acts by the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK).
The Council adopted additional EU autonomous measures to complement and reinforce the UN Security Council sanctions.
Ministers also agreed to step up outreach efforts to strengthen the implementation of UNSC resolutions by all UN members states.
Myanmar/Burma
The Council adopted conclusions on Myanmar, in the light of the humanitarian and human rights situation in Rakhine State.
