Erasmus+: is the European Union (EU) programme which supports cooperation projects, mobility, partnerships and events in the area of education, vocational training, youth and sport. The Erasmus+ programme, which brings together previous specific programmes, runs from 2014 to 2020 and provides funding opportunities for cooperation both among programme (EU + a few others) countries and between programme countries and partner countries throughout the world. A call for applications is published on the official website of the European Commission at https://eacea.ec.europa.eu/erasmus-plus_en

The EU Delegation in Riyadh is keen to promote the Erasmus+ programme in the GCC to deepen cooperation ties between the EU, its member states and KSA/GCC in the field of education.

  1. The Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degrees (EMJMDs) The EMJMDs will be offering EU-funded scholarships for courses taking place in the academic year 2018-2019. Most consortia will require applications to be submitted between October and January, for courses starting the following academic year. Students at Master level can apply to a maximum of three different programmes. Additional information can be found in this link https://ec.europa.eu/programmes/erasmus-plus/node_en.
  2.  Jean Monnet activities (JMA)

    One of the programmes available to countries outside the European Union is the Jean Monnet activities (JMA). JMA aim to develop and support European Union studies worldwide. They promote excellence in teaching and research on the European integration process, in various disciplines and for a wide range of target groups.
