Ambassador Sem Fabrizi: presentation of credentials

On 25 September, H.E. Mr Sem Fabrizi presented his credentials to the Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, Her Excellency the Honourable Quentin Bryce AC CVO. In line with diplomatic customs, a government admits a newly arrived head of mission to the exercise of his full functions only after the presentation of credentials.

In Australia this is done in an official ceremony held by the Governor General at Government house with military honours. On 25 September, the Governor General also received in individual ceremonies the credentials of the Ambassadors of the United States of America, China, Portugal, Malta and Uruguay.
