Indonesia Economic and Investment Outlook 2018

Following last year’s success, the European Business Chamber of Commerce in Indonesia (Eurocham) in partnership with the Indonesia Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) organised the “Indonesia Economic and Investment Outlook 2018” on 8 February 2018 in Jakarta. This event discussed expected investment and economic developments in Indonesia for the coming year.

"We have already conducted three rounds of CEPA negotiations, and we have recorded positive engagement from both sides and we are looking forward to further progress during the fourth round which will be conducted in Solo later this month," said EU Ambassador to Indonesia, H.E. Vincent Guérend, in his speech at the opening of the event.

"We, of course, welcome high ambitions shown by Indonesian government to conclude the talks before 2019 but we need to see an acceleration of the frequency and progress in the substance of the negotiations if we want to achieve this ambitious target," added Ambassador Guérend.
