The European Union welcomes the approval of the Law on the criminalisation of domestic violence by the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

We reconfirm our commitment to continue our work on  Women Empowerment to provide Gender Equality in support of the implementation of this Law.
