Members of the Nepalese Women Journalists Everest Expedition Team 2018 met with EU Ambassador to Nepal, H.E. Veronica Cody. The team represented by Rosha Basnet, Priya Laxmi Karki, Kalpana Maharjan, Rojita Buddhacharya and Deuralee Chamling shared with Ambassador Cody their ongoing preparations and training before they set out for the top of the world on the 16^th of April. Wishing the members all the best for their courageous venture, Ambassador Cody noted that most of the advocacy goals of gender equality and women empowerment that  the journalists are looking forward to echo along the Everest trail are also shared and promoted by the EU throughout the world.
