Breast cancer is a global health concern affecting millions of lives across the world. It is the world’s most common form of cancer and the disease does not discriminate around the globe. 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime. However when found early, breast cancer is highly treatable. Regular mammograms, clinical check-ups and knowledge in conducting self-exams can catch breast cancer at its most manageable stages.

Despite the availability of successful treatments, breast cancer is still the leading cause of cancer death for women worldwide. Raising awareness on an international level is necessary to globally engage more women in early detection procedures. Through spreading awareness, we contribute to a world where breast cancer is detected early, treated effectively, and ultimately eradicated.
