ESDC/eLSE: eLearning improves learning outcomes

How can eLearning support basic training without access to classroom training possibilities? How can you keep your 'students' interested when competing with Facebook, Instagram and Whatsapp? How to make the best use of new technologies in the education and training domain?

400 international experts in eLearning and software development met in Romania to discuss the latest trends in 'Advanced Distance Learning'. The purpose of the annual international scientific conference on 'eLearning and software for education' is to enable academia and research and corporate entities to boost the potential of technology-enhanced learning environments by providing a forum for the exchange of ideas, research outcomes, business cases and technical achievements.

This year's conference was again organised in various panels. The European Security and Defence College chaired the panel on 'eEducation and eTraining in support for Security and Defence Studies'. The papers submitted can be downloaded here.
